Why Our Referral Program is Different
At the Cosmetics Club our goal is to establish mutually profitable partnerships that build long-term, sustainable revenue streams with our members and traffic partners. We believe that this approach will deliver the best results for everyone. So when you refer a friend or relative to the Cosmetics Club and they sign up as a member we'll share 50% of the net direct revenue that is generated with you - and we'll keep on sharing it for the life of the member referred. This makes our program different from conventional referral programs where a referral bounty is normally paid for sales on a once-off basis.

How it Works
Once you have signed up to our program we will supply you with the tools you need to start generating commissions straight away. All you neeed to do is send out the web address of the Cosmetics Club with your referral ID embedded in the URL to your friends. We then track commissionable activity from the visitors you send to us. When the visitors you refer make purchases from our affiliated merchants we track the source of the sale back to you and credit your account according to our revenue sharing agreement.

Our Revenue Sharing Offer
Commission is paid to our referral partners in accordance with the following formula: We will pay 40% of net direct revenue generated where the visitor you refer makes a trackable purchase from our affiliated merchants but does not register as a member. Where the visitor you refer registers as a member we will pay 50% of net direct revenue generated on tracked transactions. We define net direct revenue as revenue generated from commissions that Blue Mamba receives from its affiliated merchant partners (excluding eBay) for the sale of products on their websites less any cashback payable to our members. See the refer-a-friend program agreement for further details. Please note that we do not pay commissions on indirect revenue generated. We define indirect revenue as revenue created when friends you refer themselves join the referal program and recruit friends. In these cases you will still receive ongoing commissions for the original friend you referred for purchases they make but not for purchases made further down the line such as those made by friends your friend may recruit. We do this to maintain an adequate level of margins and commission for all participants in the program.

Typical Rates of Commission Paid
Most merchants pay us in the order of around 10% commission on gross sales and we generally pay 50% of our commissions back as cashback to our members. This means that on a $100 purchase from a merchant we will typically pay $5 cashback to the member you refer, and split the remaining $5 commission with you 50/50. If, however, you refer a friend and they don't become a member we will still pay a commission to you based on any commissions we receive from participating merchants if the person you referred makes a purchase that we can track. In those cases we pay 40% of net direct revenue generated as commission. In the case of a $100 gross sale this would typically amount to a commission payment to you of $4.

How We pay You
We make payments via Paypal or bank transfer (Australia only) when your approved accrued balance reaches AUD $35 or GBP £20 or EUR €25 so you must have a valid paypal account. Members who are domiciled in Australia will need to supply an ABN prior to payment of commissions otherwise we are required to withold tax at the highest marginal rate. An ABN is not required to join the program, however, you will need to supply one at any stage prior to payment to avoid the requirement for us to withold tax. You can obtain an ABN at the business.gov.au website in minutes. If you are registered for GST please advise at the time of your application by checking the appropriate tick box in the wizard.
